Average Price in 2012: $2 million USDThe CCXR is an "environmentally friendly" version of the CCX, equipped with a revised twin-supercharged V8
engine from the CCX, modified to use E85 or E100 ethanol fuel as well as standard 98 octane petrol. When on
regular petrol, the CCXR can output 806 bhp, and when the car runs on E85 Biofuel, the CCXR can output a
whooping 1,018 bhp.
The increased power is because of the cooling properties of ethanol while exploding in the combustion chambers,
thus resulting a higher pressure in the cylinders.
Furthermore, the increase in octane value enables greater spark advance before detonation happens. The engine
modifications include revised fuel injectors, upgraded fuel lines and piston rings and a higher power setup on the
superchargers.
