About The Koenigsegg CCX - One Of The Most Expensive Cars:

The Koenigsegg CCX is a roadster car with the engine placed in the middle of the car, made by Swedish
carmaker Koenigsegg. The CCX has been designed in such a way to comply with the U.S. regulation and
is a revised version that succeeded the older Koenigsegg CCR.

Previous Koenigsegg cars were fitted with Ford Modular V8 engines made in the USA. Altough the actual
engine is still built around the Ford Modular principles, the engine on the CCX was highly reworked by Koenigsegg.
The engine is able to produce 806 bhp.

The CCX is a 2-door targa top and the removable roof can be kept under the front trunk, and unlike many of its
rivals, it can be changed at any location. Body of the car is made of carbon fiber and Kevlar.

The CCX has a 6-speed manual gearbox specially designed for Koenigsegg by Cima with a twin plate
clutch of 220 mm diameter as standard, but a sequential manual transmission can also be fitted as an option.
A torque-sensitive limited slip differential power the wheels.
