The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is a luxury sports car made by Italian car maker Alfa Romeo. It was first
unveiled as a concept vehicle at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2003, and later, launched ready for sale for the
2007 model year.

The 8C is based on a revised Maserati 4200 platform and powertrain and comes equipped with a Ferrari-derived
90-degree cross-plane wet sump lubricated 4.7L V8 engine assembled by Ferrari. The best engine performance
rating is 450 PS.

The 8C brakes have been described as "phenomenal" by Road & Track magazine, with a braking distance
of only 32 metres, when running at an constant speed of 60 mph.
